How IEEE style works
IEEE is a numbered style used throughout engineering, computer science, and IT. Instead of author-date, each source gets a bracketed number — [1] — assigned in the order it first appears in your text. The reference list is then ordered by those numbers.

How do IEEE citations work?

How do you format an IEEE journal reference?
